Full job description
Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a Member Services Representative to join their team. As a Member Services Representative, you will be part of the customer service department supporting member satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a focus on problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Member Services Representative
Location: Ishpeming, MI
Pay Range: From $18.00 per Hour
Shift: Part Time: up to 30 hours per week, frequently working Saturdays 9am-1pm.
What's the Job?

Provide exceptional front-line member service by processing deposits, withdrawals, and account maintenance tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Assist members with account-related inquiries, including opening/closing accounts, debit card issues, and other account maintenance needs.

Address and resolve member questions or concerns about credit union products and services, ensuring a positive member experience.

Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations and member satisfaction.

Be prepared to work at multiple branch locations (Ishpeming and Marquette) as needed and assist with Saturday shifts.
What's Needed?

Part Time: up to 30 hours per week.

Primarily based in Ishpeming but expected to work in both the Ishpeming and Marquette branches as needed.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

One year of customer service and/or cash handling experience required.

Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred: Previous experience in a financial institution and/or post-secondary education or training.
