Senior Associate Attorney (Medical Malpractice & Personal Injury)
Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Placement
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney to join a well-established civil litigation firm in Salt Lake City, Utah. This position is ideal for an experienced litigator looking to work on meaningful cases that directly impact individuals and families. The Senior Associate Attorney will play a key role in managing complex medical malpractice and personal injury matters from case development through trial.
The ideal candidate will have extensive litigation and courtroom experience, strong legal writing abilities, and the confidence to independently handle critical aspects of case strategy and trial preparation.
Responsibilities
Manage and assist with medical malpractice and personal injury litigation matters
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents
Conduct legal and medical research
Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
Take and defend depositions
Coordinate and communicate with expert witnesses
Attend court hearings and conferences
Develop case strategies and assist with trial preparation
Maintain professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

Skills and Requirements
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active Utah Bar License
7-10+ years of civil litigation experience
Strong trial experience, including participation in at least five trials
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Medical malpractice experience
Personal injury litigation experience
Experience handling complex civil litigation matters
Experience working with medical experts and technical subject matter
