Job Duties

IDR is seeking a Marketing Specialist. In this position, you will partner with the Marketing Manager and/or Director to build marketing plans, drive and implement marketing activities, measure results, and contribute to the client's mission. The role involves tactical execution of marketing initiatives including advertising, collateral development, digital marketing, content creation/assessment, and event management/sponsorship. Occasional travel and flexible working hours including weekends and evenings may be required.

Position Overview for the Marketing Specialist:

  • Partner with the Marketing Manager and/or Director to develop comprehensive marketing plans.

  • Drive, implement, monitor, and measure the results of various marketing activities.

  • Contribute to advertising, collateral development, digital marketing, content creation/assessment, and event management/sponsorship efforts.

  • Support the strategic evaluation and tactical execution of marketing initiatives aligned with organizational goals.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective campaign outcomes.

Requirements for the Marketing Specialist:

  • 3+ years of professional marketing experience in relevant fields.

  • A bachelor's degree with strong academic performance in a related field, which may include liberal arts, business, marketing, healthcare, or similar field.

  • Strong writing and editing skills.

  • Experience contributing to and/or managing a content library.

  • Experience with proposal development and RFP responses, including familiarity with RFP-specific content management systems like Responsive, and experience with Workfront.
