Full job description

Friday, Saturday and Sunday - $10k Sign-On Bonus & Weekend differential.

Reports to CT Supervisor. Under general direction, is responsible for the acquisition of CT Scans of patients for diagnostic purposes and providing patient service, using applicable imaging modalities. A CT Technologist provides optimal patient care utilizing established accepted techniques.

Performs CT Scans with and without contract within established guidelines in the clinic setting. Provides care to patients during CT Scans. Performs clinical activities required to assist the physician in a clinical setting. Exercises appropriate measures to maintain high standards of patient care. Assists with the discharge of patients. Orders and maintains a neat, organized stock of supplies. Complies with standards of JCAHO and other regulatory agencies.

Graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology School. AART (R) required. AART (R) (CT) preferred.

Demonstrated Knowledge of CT Cross-Sectional Anatomy, CT Equipment Operations, Knowledge of CT Contrast and Contrastm, Administration Demonstrates human relations and effective communication skills.

ARRT (R) Required ARRT (R) (CT) Preferred Preparing for registry or certification by ARRT.

Must have BLS/CPR by the American Heart Association.
