Bennett Aerospace, Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, isseeking an Epidemiologist to support the Department of Defense in protecting the health and readiness of military personnel through operational bio surveillance and epidemiologic analysis. The selected candidate will identify and assess biological threats of concern to the DoD, integrate data from multiple surveillance domains, and develop concise products that inform decision-making by senior military leaders and interagency partners.
This position supports a fast-paced operational environment focused on situational awareness, disease surveillance, and the timely dissemination of actionable public health intelligence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Rapidly identify, characterize, localize, and track biological threat events affecting DoD populations.

Conduct epidemiologic analyses using surveillance data from human, animal, environmental, food, and water domains consistent with a One Health approach.

Query, validate, clean, and analyze surveillance datasets using statistical and epidemiologic software.
-
Develop concise reports, executive summaries, briefings, and other informational products for DoD leadership and interagency stakeholders.

Monitor trends and identify emerging public health threats requiring additional investigation or response.
-
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support public health surveillance activities and operational decision-making.

Serve as a liaison with partner organizations, including the Armed Forces Health Surveillance Division (AFHSD), Combatant Commands, Military Services, and other Federal agencies.

Present complex epidemiologic findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Master's degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, Preventive Medicine, Veterinary Public Health, or a related field.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in epidemiology, bio surveillance, disease surveillance, public health surveillance, or population health analysis.

Demonstrated experience conducting epidemiologic analyses and interpreting surveillance data.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications

Seven (7) or more years of relevant experience.

Experience supporting the Department of Defense, Defense Health Agency, CDC, Military Services, or other Federal public health organizations.

Familiarity with DoD biosurveillance systems and reportable medical event programs.

Experience developing executive-level products and briefings.
-
Knowledge of the One Health framework.

Active Secret clearance

The salary range for this position is $121,900 - 141,900
