Job Duties
The School-Based Outpatient Therapist evaluates and diagnoses mental health disorders, administers and interprets psychological tests, and provides therapeutic intervention to students and their families in the school setting, to the extent his/her level of licensure allows, under general direction of the Outpatient Services Supervisor.
Minimum Education Required
Minimum of Masters degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited college or university. Must be licensed or license-eligible in Minnesota as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Must be able to be credentialed by third party reimbursement systems. Experience as per licensure requirement.
