Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Performance
-
Own and deliver national sales targets , revenue, and profitability outcomes.
-
Translate country and regional commercial strategy into clear sales plans, targets, and execution rhythms .
-
Drive strong forecasting, demand planning, and performance tracking across all regions.
2. Field Sales Leadership
-
Lead and develop Zonal / Area Sales Managers, District Sales Managers, and frontline leaders .
-
Ensure consistent execution of sales standards, customer coverage, and channel effectiveness.
-
Coach leaders to improve productivity, customer impact, and execution quality
3. Market & Customer Excellence
-
Drive customer segmentation, key account focus, and route‑to‑market effectiveness.
-
Partner closely with Marketing, Demand Generation, and Customer Service teams to win at the customer.
-
Champion local insights to improve portfolio focus and go‑to‑market decisions.
4. Talent & Capability Building
-
Build a strong sales leadership bench and succession pipeline.
-
Identify and develop high‑potential talent , with targeted stretch assignments and coaching.
-
Role‑model company values, ethical selling, and inclusive leadership.
5. Governance, Compliance & Risk
-
Ensure compliance with sales policies, pricing governance, trade terms, and ethical standards .

Proactively manage commercial and operational risks in the field.

Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal on incentive plans, performance management, and compliance.
To Grow What Matters, You Will Need:

Min Bachelor’s degree from reputed institute with demonstrable commercial financial acumen

Minimum of 15 years’ professional experience with minimum 10 years in sales management

Proven track record of delivery and manage team and developing team members.

Demonstrated analytical and strategy experience to maximize opportunity and mitigate risk.

Interpersonal skills that will encourage openness, trust, and collaboration both internally and externally.

Demonstrated ability to work well cross-functionally.

Personal characteristics: self-motivated, have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, be adaptable to business growth fluctuations, work comfortably and effortlessly in group settings, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and work well under the pressure of stringent deadlines.
