AHMG Pediatric Allergy and Rheumatology at Orlando 3000 N. Orange Ave., Suite D, Orlando, FL 32804 Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 2:30pm

  • Serves as liaison between staff and other areas within the facility and act as an advisor to other disciplines.
  • Assesses needs for personnel, supplies, equipment, and physical facilities for budget planning.
  • Participates in clinical conferences, workshops, seminars, and related forums.
  • Responds to and refers patient-related phone calls within a two-hour period, and call in prescriptions as ordered by the physician within 30 minutes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Supervises and participates in the provision of general nursing care activities.
  • Maintains records, prepare reports, and compose correspondence relative to the work.
  • Develops, implements, and evaluates assigned tasks and objectives for different areas.
  • Selects and assigns staff, ensuring equal employment opportunity in hiring and promotion.
  • Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
  • Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
  • Identifies staff development and training needs and ensure that training is obtained.
  • Conducts assessments of patient needs and initiate nursing care plans.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent computer skills. [Required]
  • Must be willing to float to other practices, within reason, when patient load, vacation schedules etc. make it necessary. [Required]
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements. [Required]

Education:

  • Associate's of Nursing [Required]
  • Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Field of Study:

  • N/A

Work Experience:

  • 2+ professional nursing experience, physician office [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$71,385.60 - $132,787.20 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
