Summary:
Looking for an associate to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment where every day is different. Will work in warehouse, move merchandise, receive & unload trucks, load trucks, cleanup work area, wrap & ship by UPS & LTL daily.
Hard working, team oriented and self-starting are a must.
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Minimum Qualifications:

Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and distribution to ensure efficient workflows, optimal space utilization, and timely processing of goods.

Manage inventory accuracy through regular audits, cycle counts, stock reporting, and coordination with suppliers to maintain proper levels and minimize discrepancies or losses.

Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, setting performance goals, monitoring productivity, enforcing safety protocols, and fostering a compliant, motivated team environment.

Ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement by implementing safety standards, security procedures, equipment maintenance, and process enhancements to meet company objectives and customer satisfaction.

Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Good mechanical skills.

Willingness to learn how to cut wire and perform industry specific tasks in our warehouse is key.

Ability to squat, kneel, bend, and twist

Ability to work on concrete floor for entire shift

Ability to climb ladders to pull material

Basic math skills
Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to operate a forklift

Proven warehouse experience with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes

Prior experience operating forklifts, cranes, or other heavy equipment in a warehouse setting

Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and shipping & receiving procedures

Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to materials handling and heavy equipment operation

Experience in order picking using various tools including pick systems

Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues with warehouse machinery
-
Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse environment is a plus but not required
Working Conditions:
Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures.

Essential Job Functions:
Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse
Perform order picking using RF scanners and pick systems to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly
Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting loads, and maintaining detailed logs
Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards by conducting regular safety checks and adhering to proper materials handling procedures
Assist in warehouse organization by stacking pallets, managing inventory levels, and maintaining a clean work environment
Support warehouse supervision by following directives for heavy lifting, load & unload tasks, and using mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting
Operate heavy equipment such as clamp trucks or cranes for construction-related material handling when necessary
