What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization when required, and report security-related concerns or policy violations to site leadership.

Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding incidents, patrols, observations, and other security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:
-
Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
-
Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.

Possess 1+ years of law enforcement experience, 2+ years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3+ years of security-related experience.

Possess an armed guard card or license.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
