Job Summary
Job Responsibilities
-
Supervise the company's inventory control activities to ensure the efficient and economical utilization of facilities for storing and distributing raw materials and finished products.

Ensure the receipt and storage of products, materials, equipment, parts, accessories, and supplies.

Monitor inspection of incoming items against orders for accuracy, completeness, and defects.
-
Arrange for the return and replacement of defective items.
-
Manage periodic and special inventories; accounts for inventory variances.
-
Assist with improvements in policies and procedures to promote efficiency, faster service, and lower costs.

Coordinate the transfer of products, materials, equipment, parts, accessories, and/or supplies between/among warehouses.

Ability to supervise a group independently.

Communicate clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required.

May participate in preparation of proposals.

Provide assistance to lesser-experienced employees by communicating work priorities, providing assistance, and verifying accuracy of work.

Mentor direct staff.

Support, communicate and defend the mission, values and culture of the company.

May also have supervisory responsibility involving staffing, conducting performance appraisals, training and developing subordinates, promotions, salary increases, terminations, disciplinary actions, etc
