Job Description:

  • Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for Eligible Applicants

  • Up to $3000 Relocation Bonus for Eligible Applicants

  • Location: Heart of Florida 40124 US 27 Davenport, Fl

  • Schedule: Weekday either 4 Ten-hour shifts or 5 Eight-hour shifts

  • The anticipated minimum pay rate for this position is $35/hour. This role may assist other clinics and travel stipend of up to $6 per hour.

  • Determines physical therapy diagnosis and establishes a plan of care, making recommendations for referral if treatment is needed outside the scope of physical therapist practice.

  • Designs and implements treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards, recommended techniques, modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.

  • Assesses patient ability to safely and effectively perform functional mobility skills and evaluates muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems.

  • Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community.

  • Oversees the care provided by physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides, according to established regulations and practice standards. Participates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department.

  • Documents and charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospital policy and procedures. Participates in marketing to physicians and physician practices to build referral relationships. Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.

  • Monitors patient response and progress to treatment, modifying the treatment plan as appropriate.

Pay Range:

$63,312.44 - $117,758.31 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
