Full job description
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for spearheading initiatives to enhance value streams by integrating process excellence methodologies with digital technologies
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to streamline operations, reduce cycle times, and eliminate non-value-added activities
- Own the end-to-end process audit lifecycle, structuring and executing comprehensive process audits across three core pillars: People, Process, and Systems
- Manage and communicate the quarterly process audit calendar, coordinating schedules seamlessly with business stakeholders
- Coordinate closely with functional leads to present comprehensive audit findings, align on root causes, and secure formal sign-offs on corrective action plans
- Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes and practices, minimizing resistance and maximizing engagement
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices to maintain consistency and compliance
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations, or a related discipline with 5 to 8 Years experience in an Automotive OEM.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing and commercial operations, support value streams, and Lean methodologies
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without formal authority
- Certifications as a Lean Practitioner/Green Belt, Six Sigma, or ISO/Automotive Internal Auditor will be an added advantage
- Deep understanding of DMAIC frameworks, waste elimination (Muda, Mura, Muri), cycle-time reduction, and root-cause analysis. (5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA)
- Ability to design, document, and deploy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices to ensure compliance and quality control
- Experience working with audit governance frameworks, defined reporting timelines, and CAPA tracking registers
