Mold Setter- 8 Hour Day Shift

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Follow schedule and change molds in a safe and efficient manner

• Change/ pull molds for repair, ect. as instructed by immediate supervisor

• Proper setup and testing of robots as needed

• Notify immediate supervisor of any issue or problems encountered while changing molds

• Perform other duties as directed by your immediate supervisor

• Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic work environment

• Report any unsafe conditions and/or equipment to the immediate supervisor

• Lockout any unsafe equipment and takes necessary action, complete a work order to maintenance department as needed. Notify immediate supervisor

• Inspect condition of holes in platen at each mold change. Repair holes needing attendance

• Perform other duties as directed by immediate supervisor

• Be familiar with and follow all food-safety procedures/ instructions related to your work

• Be familiar with and follow all ISO, SQF, and HACCP procedures/ instructions related to your work

Qualifications:

• Previous injection molding experience a plus

• 1-2 years heavy equipment experience required

• High School Diploma/ GED preferred

• Previous knowledge of SQF and ISO guidelines

The starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $19.50 per hour; however, starting pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience between $19.50 and $25.00.
