Production Operational Readiness Unit Le

As part of Site and Product Support within NA PS, the Production Operational Readiness Unit Lead will have responsibility for the Production Operational Readiness Unit comprised of the Enablement Squad, Toller Management Squad, and Contracts & Labor Squad. The role will provide leadership in support of our fulfilled people outcomes. In addition, the role will help ensure key work & support needs are maintained across the Row Crop Production Network for current year execution and Y+1 readiness while ensuring execution efficiency at scale.

The primary responsibilities of this role, Production Operational Readiness Unit Lead, are to:

  • Be responsible for career coaching, mentoring, and long-term development guidance for its team members;

  • Facilitate formal performance management, compensation and recognition plan while collaboratively assessing skill development and impact within work teams;

  • Sets strategic vision for the Unit so employees can connect their daily work to the 5-year framework and broader Bayer mission, Health for All, Hunger for None;

  • Drive proficiency in DSO operating model by integrating and catalyzing teams across functions to achieve aligned outcomes that accelerate the enterprise;

  • Coach to work in 90-day cycles and enable the highest priority work through dynamic resource flow;

  • Have overall accountability for the development, implementation and improvement of the Enablement, Toller Management, and Grower/Contract Management squads standard work activities;

  • Ensure appropriate alignment and achievement of operational site/product support needs and requirements for current year execution and Y+1 readiness planning; covering people, systems, and process;

  • Support and coach team members to attain operational excellence, creating strong process accountability that elevates operational performance.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field;

  • Business and operational acumen with a full understanding of Row Crop network, operations, and its limitations with the ability to anticipate challenges;

  • Strong communication with the ability to build trust across broad stakeholder teams and drive enterprise solutions;

  • Good financial acumen with basic finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control, schedule control, and inventory management principles to aid in decision making;

  • Ability to coach, motivate, and inspire cross functional work teams plus the ability to develop skills of Home Team members;

  • Strong strategic thinking to challenge teams to co-create outcomes using a creative mindset that takes risks and challenges the status quo.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15+ years functional/management experience.

Domestic relocation may be offered for this role.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $178,320.00 to $267,480.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
