Full job description
Description: The F-35 is the first tactical aircraft system to have sustainment tools designed in concert with the air vehicle to optimize operations. This focus on sustainment, together with economies of scale realized from a global supply chain for more than 3,000 aircraft, will help control the costs associated with maintaining a fleet of 5th Generation fighters. This position will be part of the aircraft maintenance team supporting the JSF program at Edwards Air Force Base, CA. This position will require employee to work in a team environment maintaining F-35 aircraft. Tasks will include items such as aircraft Inspection, servicing, repair, overhaul, modification, fabrication and weapon loading as required.

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years broad hands-on working experience in a 5 or 7 skill level USAF AFSC, Navy NEC, or Marine MOS maintenance discipline or equivalent commercial experience such an FAA instrumentation license or 4 years F-35 specific maintenance experience.
Experience with reading and interpreting Aircraft Technical Data Instructions.
Experience with Tool Control, FOD, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs.
Experience with Maintenance Information Systems such as Electronic Maintenance Instructions, Aircraft Forms Documentation, Technical Data.
Desired Skills:
Experience with reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints and maintenance instructions.
Previous flight test or military fighter aircraft maintenance experience in instrumentation and or avionics a plus.
Flightline Experience highly desired
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

The base range for this position in California is $32.95 - $52.23.
