What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific requirements, helping maintain an orderly environment for patients, donors, visitors, and staff.

Complete accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:

Have at least one year of security-related experience.

Possess a valid armed guard card or license.

Be at least 21 years of age.
-
Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
