Full job description

Performs and/or coordinates a variety of patient care duties under appropriate clinical supervision. Thorough knowledge of clinical medicine practice and procedures. Ability to recognize medical needs of patients and their families; ability to educate patients and family members; ability to explain to patient and families prescribed medications. High School Diploma or equivalent required. A graduate of a CAAHEP accredited medical assisting program with a current CMA credential or a graduate from ABHES-accredited medical assisting programs with a current RMA credential or a c urrent valid North Carolina LPN license to practice . CPR Certification. Minimum of 1-year experience in a primary care physician's office preferred, but not required.
