Job Summary:
The Environmental Service Technician I is responsible for executing the daily duties required to establishand maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment. While executing the assignedtasks, the EVS Tech will have contact with patients, visitors, and clinical and non-clinical staff. Contact mayinclude physical, psychological, educational, and safety related and should be appropriate to the specificdemographics of patients served in assigned service areas. Responsible for ensuring timely room turnsrelated to patient throughput within the basic principles of environmental hygiene and infection prevention.The environmental services technician, in accordance with organizational standards of quality, is anessential contributor to cleaning, disinfection, infection prevention and patient experience.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Customer Service, Hospitality, and/or Environmental Services experience (1-2 years) preferred.
