Full job description

Bilingual Licensed Therapist (LMFT or LPCC)

Location: Homeland, CA

Pay Rate: Starting at $50.00/hour DOE

Schedule: Full-Time, 35-37.5 Hours Per Week

Setting: School-Based

We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual Licensed Therapist to join a school-based program serving students in the Homeland, CA area. The ideal candidate will be a licensed clinician who is fluent in both English and Spanish and is passionate about supporting students' mental health, emotional well-being, and overall success in the educational setting.

This position offers a full-time schedule and the opportunity to work collaboratively with students, families, and school personnel to provide counseling services, behavioral support, and therapeutic interventions that help students thrive both academically and socially.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students.

  • Conduct mental health assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.

  • Support students with social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs.

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and community partners to coordinate services and support student success.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide clinical recommendations.

  • Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral support strategies when needed.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with professional, state, and district standards.

  • Ensure compliance with all ethical, legal, and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

  • Active California licensure as a:

  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or

  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish required.

  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families preferred.

  • Previous school-based, behavioral health, or community mental health experience preferred.

  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and educational staff.

Requirements

  • Current TB clearance (PPD, chest X-ray, or questionnaire, as required).

  • Current health certificate, if required by contract or state regulations.

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
