Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow up with new leads and schedule initial consultations Promptly contact new leads, respond to inquiries, and schedule initial consultations for the Mortgage Advisor. Maintain consistent follow-up to ensure every prospect receives timely communication and no opportunities are missed.

  • Collect borrower information and help complete loan applications Gather key borrower details including financial information, employment history, loan purpose, and timeline. Assist borrowers with completing the loan application and ensure information is entered accurately into the system.

  • Send documentation requests and follow up until files are complete Provide borrowers with clear documentation requests and maintain consistent follow-up to collect all required materials. Ensure borrowers understand next steps and timelines while keeping the process moving efficiently.

  • Review and organize documents before submitting files for pre-approval Review borrower documents for completeness, organize files appropriately, and ensure documentation is properly labeled and uploaded before submitting the file for pre-approval review.

  • Provide updates to referral partners during the early stages of the loan process Communicate with referral partners to confirm receipt of new leads, provide status updates during the pre-approval process, and ensure they remain informed about their client’s progress.

  • Help manage the Mortgage Advisor’s calendar and communications Assist in coordinating the Mortgage Advisor’s schedule by booking consultations, managing follow-ups, and helping organize communications so the advisor can focus on client relationships and loan strategy.

  • Track lead and pipeline activity in the CRM Maintain accurate records of lead activity, borrower interactions, and loan progress within the CRM. Help ensure the pipeline is organized and that reporting and lead tracking remain accurate.

Non-Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Adopts NEOs values in work behavior, decision making, contributions and interpersonal interactions.

  • Promotes interdepartmental communication and culture.

  • Lead, develop and motivate the team across all locations and operational functions.

  • Continued focus to ensure all families (Internal and External) are receiving the best possible service.

  • Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum requirement includes a high school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in finance or a related field is advantageous.

  • Previous mortgage experience is not required. We welcome recent graduates and candidates with experience in customer service, banking, hospitality, retail, sales, or other client-facing roles who are eager to build a career in the mortgage industry.
