Job Description:

Our newest location - Texas Health Neighborhood Care & Wellness Midlothian, a part of Texas Health Hospital Mansfield, features a 24/7 Emergency Department with 12 treatment rooms, including two dedicated trauma rooms, EMS receiving capabilities, experienced emergency nursing staff, an in-house laboratory, physical therapy and advanced radiology services featuring bariatric-capable imaging technology.

This facility will bring advanced emergency and outpatient services to one of the fastest-growing communities in North Texas in Midlothian. The 25,000-square-foot first floor will open with comprehensive clinical services, while the second floor is planned for future expansion, including physician office space

  • Leads and supports performance and quality improvement initiatives, implements evidence-based practice changes, and ensures compliance with professional standards and hospital policies.

  • Utilizes critical thinking and technology in decision-making, problem-solving, and integrating new systems to enhance patient care and outcomes.

  • Provides strong leadership and mentorship, ensures high-quality clinical care, supports staff development, and maintains clear communication and planning for patient care delivery.

  • Encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and maintains positive relationships with patients, staff, vendors, and other departments to ensure patient-centered care.

  • Demonstrates professionalism, supports ongoing education and development, maintains confidentiality, and upholds ethical standards and organizational policies.

  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient focused care.

  • Educates and mentors staff, ensuring adherence to clinical practice models and evidence-based practices.

  • Develops and implements policies, procedures, and process improvement initiatives in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Computer literacy [Required]

  • Skill and proficiency in applying highly technical principles, concepts and techniques which are central to the nursing profession and is normally acquired through completion of a BSN and/or MSN program. [Required]

Education:

  • Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]

  • Master's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

  • 1+ management of charge nurse experience [Required]

  • 2+ ED experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]

  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Preferred]

  • ENPC and TNCC [Preferred]
