POSITION TITLE: Mechanic – Trucks & Trailers
POSITION LOCATION: 110 Olympic Dr, Nicholasville, KY, 40356
SALARY: $65,146 per year

JOB DESCRIPTION Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems in commercial trucks and trailers to ensure safe and efficient operation. Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical or electrical problems and determine appropriate repair procedures. Test vehicle components and systems using diagnostic equipment and specialized tools. Repair or replace defective components such as engines, transmissions, braking systems, electrical wiring, sensors, and other mechanical parts. Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, brake servicing, tire inspection, and system adjustments. Conduct inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Maintain service records documenting inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed. Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized repair environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: two (2) years of experience as a Mechanic or related occupation performing vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair.

Diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems in trucks and trailers.

Using diagnostic equipment and mechanical repair tools.

Providing mechanic services on vehicle engines, braking systems, transmissions, and electrical components.

Reading and interpreting technical repair manuals and diagnostic information.

Performing routine maintenance and mechanical repairs on commercial trucks.
