Works a flexible schedule as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Ensures the room is prepared with all necessary equipment and supplies for each procedure. Takes call on weekends, rotating included, and performs emergency procedures while meeting on-call requirements. Transfers images to PACS, updates logs, and performs other duties as assigned by the tech manager or director. Collaborates effectively with a multi-disciplinary team. Performs hemodynamic and patient monitoring functions during procedures. Scrubs in and performs clinical procedures independently, obtaining anatomical, pathological, and physiological data for physician interpretation. Manages high-stress situations such as codes, STEMIs, and emergencies with skill and knowledge to scrub and monitor independently. Prepares the room in a timely manner with all anticipated equipment, instruments, and supplies for each procedure. Cleans after cases, including emptying trash, cleaning sterile tables, and transferring patients. Stocks equipment and ensures availability for procedures.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Work Experience:

• 1+ of experience in echocardiography and/or vascular technology [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] OR Radiologic Technologist - License (RT-LIC) [Required] OR State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) [Required] OR NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) [Required] OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) [Required] OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) [Required] OR Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular Interventional (R.T.(CV)(ARRT)) [Required] OR Licensed Paramedic (PARA) [Required]

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$28.68 - $53.35 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
