Job Duties
Sheridan is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production equipment and facility operations. This is a 2nd shift role (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) with consistent weekday hours and a rotating on-call schedule. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience in a manufacturing environment.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Rotating on-call weekends (minimum 2 hours paid if called in)
Pay:
$23.00/hour or higher, depending on experience + additional $1.00/hour shift differential
What You’ll Do:
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities to include fabricating parts and assemblies.
Follow up on and study recurring facility-oriented failures in an effort to find solutions.
Attend to RTU air conditioners, filter changes, wash condensers, tighten belts.
Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials necessary for the operation of the building and manufacturing.
Wood working projects.

Minimum Education Required
High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum Experience Required
2+ years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
Mechanical aptitude.
Understand Lock-Out-Tag-Out.
Ability to thread pipe and solder copper pipes.
