As a Security Officer Entry Authorization in Whitestown, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally, document incidents, and help deter security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.

Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and following established entry and exit procedures.

Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle, driver, employee, and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific protocols.

Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to established procedures.

Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including entrances, loading docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Minimum Requirements:
-
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
