Patient Access Representative – Join Us in Beautiful Hamilton, Montana!

Are you passionate about helping others and thrive in a fast-paced, people-centered environment? Bitterroot Health is looking for a dedicated Patient Access Representative (PAR) to be the welcoming face of our medical clinics in the stunning Bitterroot Valley.

What You'll Do

As a Patient Access Representative, you'll be a key player in ensuring smooth, efficient, and compassionate care from the moment a patient walks through our doors. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Scheduling appointments and verifying insurance

  • Registering patients and managing referrals

  • Handling phone calls and point-of-service collections

  • Maintaining accurate records and protecting patient privacy

  • Supporting financial outcomes and patient satisfaction

What We're Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is:

  • A strong communicator—both in person and in writing

  • Calm under pressure and great at multitasking

  • Friendly, professional, and committed to excellent service

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; medical terminology courses a plus

  • Experience:

  • 2+ years in a hospital or physician office preferred

  • Prior experience in scheduling, patient accounts, unit clerk, or MA roles a bonus

  • Familiarity with registration and billing processes preferred

Schedule & Benefits

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
