Job Title: Production Operator – Medical Device / Diagnostics Manufacturing
Location: Blauvelt, NY
Contract Assignment – 6 months
Pay rate: $21.00–$23.00/hour (depending upon experience)
Work Model: Onsite
Available Shifts (Monday–Friday)
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Paid Training Provided: Orientation Day: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor production equipment and manufacturing systems in a regulated environment.

Maintain production areas in a clean, organized, and audit-ready condition following GMP, FDA, ISO, and SOP requirements.

Support manufacturing operations involving medical devices, diagnostics, pharmaceutical, or biotech products.

Perform routine equipment checks, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs.

Complete production documentation including batch records, production logs, quality forms, and inventory records accurately.

Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company operating procedures.

Assist with line clearances, material handling, packaging, labeling, and production setup activities.

Communicate effectively during shift handoffs regarding production status, equipment issues, and safety updates.

Meet daily production goals while maintaining high-quality standards and attention to detail.

Identify and report process deviations, equipment concerns, or quality issues to supervisors promptly.

Work collaboratively with manufacturing, quality, maintenance, and warehouse teams.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required (must be on resume)
-
Minimum 1 year of manufacturing, production, assembly, or machine operation experience required.

Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, food manufacturing, chemical processing, or cleanroom environments strongly preferred.
Familiarity with:

GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)

FDA-regulated manufacturing

Batch records and production documentation

ISO standards

Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced production environment.
