Finance Transformation Analyst

Job Description

Join a major medical systems Finance Transformation team and help drive process improvement, automation, and operational excellence across finance functions. This role partners with Finance Shared Services and business leaders to identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve financial processes, and support strategic transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support finance transformation projects focused on process optimization, automation, and operational efficiency.

• Document and analyze current-state processes and help design improved future-state workflows.

• Partner with stakeholders across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Financial Reporting, and other finance functions.

• Assist with process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.

• Gather business requirements, facilitate workshops, and support implementation of new processes and technologies.

• Track project milestones, performance metrics, and business outcomes.

• Create process documentation, standard operating procedures, policies, and training materials.

• Analyze financial and operational data to support decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.

• Build reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor performance and results.

• Support organizational change management, communications, and stakeholder alignment.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Healthcare Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• 1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting operations, process improvement, analytics, or business transformation.

• Experience mapping processes, creating policies, and documenting procedures and work instructions.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Word

• Understanding of financial processes, general ledger concepts, financial statements, chart of accounts and accounting operations.

• Ability to gather business requirements and work effectively with cross-functional teams. • Power BI or Tableau experience

• Power Query / SQL experience

• AI Tools experience

• Healthcare industry experience

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent
