Job Summary

Responsible for coordinating efforts of the Environmental Services staff to complete housekeeping schedules and to meet special needs that might arise during the course of the shift when supervisors are not scheduled for work in the facility. Successfully completes all tasks and schedules given by the EVS supervisor to produce a sterile, clean and healthy environment at CVHP. The EVS aide will clean areas that may contain IV solutions and medications as part of their normal area of cleaning responsibilities. The EVS aide is trained by their EVS supervisor as to the significance and importance of keeping the room secure upon entering and upon leaving the secured area.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Minimum Experience Requirement:

One-two years experience as a EVS worker required. Must demonstrate upon interview the following skills: Ability to understand basic chemical- mixing instructions; Ability to use basic math; able to read, write and understand English. Excellent customer service skills required.

Pay Range:

$24.15 - $36.23
