Description: Full Time: Monday - Friday: 6:30am - 3:00pm
Purpose:
The Nutritional Services Stocker position entails inventory checks, cleaning, stocking, receiving, labeling, organizing of the stock rooms, coolers and freezers. Assisting the chef and cooks with recipe preparations including cutting, Chopping and some cooking.
What you will do:
Inventory and Storage Management
- Check in new product deliveries, inspecting items for damage and verifying quantities.
- Organize and stock dry storage rooms, walk-in coolers, and freezers.
- Rotate food and supply items using safety guidelines like FIFO (First-In, First-Out) to manage expiration dates.
- Label food items properly and pull required inventory for daily meal service.
- Track supply levels and report shortages or low stock to management
Kitchen Assistance and Sanitation
- Help chefs and cooks with basic recipe preparation tasks like cutting, chopping, and washing produce.
- Break down empty shipping boxes, take out trash, and maintain clean waste disposal areas.
- Clean and sanitize storage areas, refrigerators, freezers, and general kitchen floors.
- Dispose of expired or spoiled food according to health and safety regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
