Job Description

As a key strategic partner, the Operations Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in driving financial performance and operational excellence across the organization. This leader oversees financial planning, analysis, and reporting for several regions in operations. Aligns initiatives with corporate objectives and delivering actionable insights to senior leadership. The ideal candidate blends financial acumen with operational savvy and thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Core Responsibilities

Business Partnership

  • Act as the primary FP&A thought partner to regional operations Vice Presidents, link operational drivers to financial outcomes.
  • Drive financial visibility for operational transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with teams across Procurement, Accounting and Operations to support strategic initiatives.
  • Own inventory and operations capex, develop processes to include reporting and tracking of inventory and Capex spend.

Financial Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end regional financial planning and forecasting for operations, streamlining processes through automation.
  • Own business case development to support Sourcing and Operations efficiency projects and present to senior leadership.
  • Partner with operations teams to define and monitor KPIs, cost-saving strategies, and capital investments—ensuring ROI targets are met.
  • Support the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning for North America (US and Canada), ensuring alignment with enterprise targets.
  • Own monthly/quarterly operational performance reviews for supported regions, analyze variances, and track corrective actions.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that track key financial and operational metrics.
  • Champion continuous improvement in financial systems and processes.

Compliance & Controls

  • Asset Management: Support internal audits of company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory standards.
  • Support internal audits related to operations finance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of finance experience (prefer operations-focused roles).
  • Advanced analytical skills and expertise in financial modeling and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Power BI).
  • Strong communicator and proactive influential leader with a track record of cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
  • Data-driven, attention to detail decision-maker with a bias for action.
  • Collaborative leader who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Proactive problem solver and self-starter.

Travel Requirements

  • Flexible travel (<20%) is based on business needs.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid – 3 days in office
