U105 offers a superb mix of classic pop hits from the 80s through to melodic contemporary artists, soft rock, classic/new country and the present day.

Your role: U105are looking to expand on its market-leading sales team, and we are now hiring a Field Sales Executive to drive local business, new business acquisition, and identify new revenue streams. You will manage a set of key accounts while striving to grow revenue and build lasting client relationships. A passion for sales, media, and exceeding targets is the key to success in this role.

The successful candidate will have a flair for communication and negotiation, with the drive and ambition to bring our brands to new commercial customers. We offer a hybrid work model, minimum 3 days in office/ on road a week

Day to day you will:

  • You will be responsible for managing a client list of existing business as well as generating new clients to grow year on year revenue and the customer base on all platforms -on air; on street; online.

  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue targets as set by sales management

  • Field sales - take ownership of your clients in a fast paced, face-to-face sales environment

  • Regularly attend face to face meetings with clients and prospects

  • Consistently strive for best-in-class customer care delivery

  • Contribute to the creation of competitive commercial packages

  • Prepare proposals; client correspondence; advertising contracts including reports, bookings, production requests, solution briefs, credit applications, CRM etc

  • Attend sales meetings and support other members of the Sales Team as and when required

  • Be involved in client events when appropriate

  • Keep abreast of developments in the media and commercial advertising sectors

  • Adhere to all sales department policies, including recommended rates and packages

What we’re looking for from you:

  • Highly motivated and outgoing individual

  • Experience in sales (media sales preferred but not essential)

  • Must have strong cold calling skills with ability to manage the full sales cycle, from lead sourcing to closing

  • Confident working in a fast-paced environment and able to react positively to change

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Tech savvy with strong knowledge of digital platforms

  • You will have an ability to influence and build long lasting relationships

  • Efficient in Microsoft tools, including Excel & PowerPoint

  • Full driving license and access to a car on a daily basis
