As a Security Officer Armed Elite Field Patrol in Palm Beach Gardens, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Security Professional, you will provide a visible presence throughout a residential community, conducting routine vehicle patrols and responding to security-related concerns. You will help to deter incidents, support residents and visitors with exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with the team. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout residential community grounds, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services when appropriate.

Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian activity entering and leaving the property.

Prepare accurate reports and communicate observed incidents, hazards, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
-
Possess at least two years of combined corrections, law enforcement, military, and/or a college degree in criminal justice.
-
Be at least 21 years of age.
-
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
-
Guard card is required.
-
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
-
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
