Job Title: Warehouse Driver Job Description

The Warehouse Driver will be responsible for delivering and unloading products to customers efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload orders using a hand truck.

• Greet customers, maintain professional relationships, and provide excellent customer service.

• Close and lock all bays when not in use and keep keys secure while servicing accounts.

• Obtain customer signatures on invoices for proof of delivery.

• Complete all scheduled deliveries efficiently.

• Communicate with management regarding any delivery issues.

• Safely operate a company-owned delivery truck.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.

Essential Skills

• Proficient driving skills.

• Experience with loading and unloading.

• Strong inventory management skills.

• Ability to provide excellent customer service.

• Experience with operating a box truck.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous.

• Strong communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

Work in a warehouse environment with shifts from 6 am to 3:45 pm or 7 am to 4:45 pm, Monday through Friday. The role involves delivering metal components throughout the week to customers within the South Bay area, including Sunnyvale and Palo Alto.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Union City, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
