Shift Available : Rotating 12 hours Day Shift

Pay Range : $22/hr - $27/hr base on experience

A typical Work Day May Include:

  • Operation of packaging equipment and forklift

  • Input production related data in computer systems such as SAP

  • Create and apply product labels in accordance with regulatory and quality standards

  • Collect finished product samples and perform quality testing

  • Monitor Bag Weights on scale

  • Minor maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment

  • Repalletizing / disposal of distressed product

  • Performing required production tasks to prepare equipment for the packaging of different products and packaging types

  • Unloading and loading trucks/trailers and our warehouse racking system of materials, supplies and finished product

  • Understanding and adhering to all safety trainings, food safety, sanitation, housekeeping, hygiene and environmental policies and procedures

  • Other duties as assigned

What You Will Need:

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer

  • Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility

  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)

  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)

  • Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice

  • Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment

What Will Put You Ahead:

  • Prior experience in production-related work

  • High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience

  • Experience operating forklifts and/or similar equipment

  • Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems
