Schedule: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 1012 95Th St City: Naperville State: Illinois Postal Code: 60564 Job Description:
Up to $3,000 sign-on bonus available for eligible applicants
Location: 1012 95th Street, Ste 4, Naperville, IL 60564 (will travel to clinics in Bolingbrook and Aurora) Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8a-5p, Friday 8a-2p
- Follows CDC isolation guidelines, infection control practices, demonstrates appropriate use of PPE, performs hand washing according to policy, and enforces regulations.
- Performs additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Manager or Operations Manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Delivers excellent customer service to patients, families, and other care providers, focusing on family-centered care by displaying a positive attitude and professional demeanor with every patient encounter.
- Coordinates pre-office visit scheduling, chart review, and general clerical activities.
- Assists with the onboarding, training, and professional development of Medical Assistant I and II positions and mentors select individuals within the transplant programs.
- Facilitates day-to-day workflow and operations in conjunction with the Clinic Manager, including customer service recovery, development of daily work assignments, and break schedules.
- Supports the execution of quality improvement ideas and suggestions to improve the patient experience of care, health of the populations served, and reduce the cost of clinic care.
- Coordinates clinical care during clinic visits under the direct supervision and responsibility of a licensed physician.
- Coordinates post-office visit clinical care, including scanning recent clinic visit documents, ensuring diagnostic tests, lab results, and medical records are reviewed by the physician, and scheduling diagnostic procedures.
- Manages daily clinic consult room readiness, ensuring cleanliness, adequate stocking of supplies, and appearance as specified by the clinic manager.
- Actively participates in surveys from regulatory and licensing agencies.
Education:
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Work Experience:
- 1+ years relevant work experience [Required]
- Experience in Ob Gyn, maternal-fetal medicine and surgical OB [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- American Association Medical Assistants (CMA) [Required] OR
- Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) [Required] OR
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) [Required] OR
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) [Required] OR
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) [Required] OR
- Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) [Required]

Pay Range:
