Pay Rate: $32.00 an hour with $2.00 an hour additional shift differential on swing and grave shift

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all HVAC systems

  • Assist with HVAC system installations

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance

  • Maintain water treatment systems

  • Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment and appliances

  • Maintain accurate logs and maintenance records

  • Monitor and adjust property wide temperature controls and set points

KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge and Certification

Required:

  • Two (2) years vocational HVAC training or five (5) years of equivalent on-the-job experience

  • Valid HVAC and Refrigerant Certification

  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

Preferred:

  • Class C Chief Boiler License

Skills

Required:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Highly organized with the ability to adapt to changing priorities

  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude

Preferred:

  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and familiarity with DX/DDC control systems

Abilities

Required:

  • Ability to work efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to troubleshoot, maintain and repair specialized equipment

  • Ability to maintain high confidentiality

  • Ability to interact professionally with guests, and coworkers, and leadership

  • Ability to follow established dress code policies and personal hygiene standards

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to walk or stan for up to 8 hours

  • Must have a good balance and be able to bend, kneel, and stoop as needed

  • Must be able to occasionally push, pull, and grasp objects

  • Must be able to climb a ladder

  • Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds independently on a routine basis

  • Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions

  • Must have good hand-eye coordination

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Work is performed throughout the property both indoors and outdoors, and may include exposure to loud noise (power tools), dust, fumes (chemicals, paints, varnishes), flashing lights, and cigarette smoke

  • Must be able to work in tight spaces and in all weather conditions

  • Overtime may occasionally be required

  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
