Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and/or Professor- Anesthesiology, Trauma Division

The University of Maryland Department of Anesthesiology is growing. We are seeking BE/BC Anesthesiologists interested in joining the Division of Trauma Anesthesiology. Expected rank for these positions is Assistant Professor or higher; however, rank and tenure status is dependent on candidate’s qualifications. Responsibilities include clinical care and teaching of fellows, residents, medical students, student nurse anesthetists, and paramedics. Trauma Anesthesiology - Anesthesiologists in the Trauma Anesthesia Division care for patients in the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center of the University of Maryland Medical Center, the nation’s busiest trauma hospital and a leading center worldwide for trauma-related research. Faculty members are engaged in assessment and resuscitation of trauma patients including critical care and acute pain management. Candidates must be ABA certified (or eligible).
