Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Clinical Pastoral Educator Candidate, you will actively participate in the ACPE Certified Educator educational program, meeting all relevant deadlines and staying current with the ACPE certification process. Under the supervision of an ACPE certified educator, you will develop and conduct Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) programs and curriculum in compliance with ACPE standards. This role is a training position to become an ACPE Certified Educator.
Everyday you will educate CPE students, ensuring their effective spiritual care delivery, and collaborate with CPE certified educators and clinical faculty on program administration. You will also provide vital spiritual and emotional care in assigned areas, which includes assessing spiritual needs and developing sustained care plans for patients, their loved ones, and staff.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to becoming an ACPE Certified Educator. Excellent organizational skills, a proactive approach to the certification process, and the ability to effectively develop and conduct CPE programs, combined with your capacity for compassionate clinical spiritual care, are essential.

Develops and conducts Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) programs and curriculum under the supervision of an Association of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) certified educator in compliance with the standards of ACPE.

Educates CPE students and ensures the students' delivery of spiritual care services.

Works with the CPE certified educators and clinical faculty in the planning and administration of the overall CPE training program.

Provides spiritual and emotional care in assigned areas, including care of patients, their loved ones, and staff.

Assesses spiritual needs and develops a plan for sustained care.
Job Requirements
Required

Master's Degree in Divinity, Theology, or related field from an accredited school

Minimum of four (4) units CPE from ACPE-accredited program

$31.00 - $31.00 /hour
