What you´ll do

  • Become a part of our North American Application Engineering team, supporting key accounts and target markets, and driving expertise and innovation activities identified for our business unit.

  • To carry out strategic initiatives by partnering closely with our Product Development, Innovation, Marketing, Business Development, Sales, Channel, and Application Engineering Teams.

  • Influence and drive scaling efforts by leading our Applications and Vertical programs, collaborating with sales support teams, building industry expertise and credibility, and rolling out innovation launches.

  • Support key customers and target markets, by building expertise in the subject matter and target applications through lead users, universities, and industry partners.

  • Collaborate and roadmap with regional customers to identify new opportunities.

  • Identify market trends and needs, including competitive threats, and ensure Henkel compliance.

  • Champion, communicate, and scale value proposition activities, validating market projects and programs through value analysis.

  • Develop training materials to drive understanding and expertise of key applications to Application Engineering, and Sales teams.

  • Collaborate and meet with Global Market Application Engineering to learn, identify, and scale regional opportunities.

  • Promote Henkel technical expertise externally through technical conferences, trade shows, white papers, direct customer engagement, and membership of industrially recognized organizations.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical), MBA Preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in Application Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering & related fields

  • Strong laboratory, problem solving, and computer skills such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Artificial Intelligence

  • Experience in facilitation, training, presentation, and customer interactions

  • Clear written and verbal communication. Collaborative teamwork

  • Self-motivated, hands-on, ambitious, and entrepreneurial

This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
