Position Summary:

​​Using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble machinery.​

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • ​​Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures

  • ​Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements to meet QualityStandards

  • ​Proficient use of equipment required by the job function

  • ​Adhere to safety, quality, inventory and production guidelines

  • ​Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Supervisor

  • ​Assemble equipment for final operation

  • ​Perform troubleshooting as required

  • ​Explores methods of improving efficiency, speed, and quality of work being done

  • ​Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):

  • ​​Basic knowledge and understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production or precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models.

  • ​Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers in addition to understanding fractions and decimals).

  • ​Possess the ability to read and understand both written and verbal instructions.

  • ​Must be able to read basic prints/schematics.

  • ​Must be able to read and use tape measure, rule and square to fit parts and assemblies.

  • ​Adhere to safety, quality, inventory and production guidelines

  • ​Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Group Lead/Supervisor

  • ​Assemble equipment for final operation

  • ​Perform troubleshooting as required

  • ​Explores methods of improving efficiency, speed, and quality of work being done

  • ​Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
