Job Summary

Performs routine cleaning of assigned areas, including direct and indirect patient care areas,diagnostic areas, offices, restrooms and public areas. Meets time, quality and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain adequate supplies on cart for supply replenishment in work areas.

  • Perform routine floor care to clean, burnish and scrub floors.

  • Dispose of solid, biohazard, recyclable and confidential trash per procedures.

  • Utilize paging system.

  • Utilize HEV systems for bed discharge/transfer flow.

Minimum Requirements

  • Able to lift, bend, pull & stoop.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Good physical health.

  • Walking & standing 8 hours per day.

  • Must be able to read & write.

  • No previous experience required.
