Work Schedule:
Split Shift Schedule
- Monday- Friday at 6:15 AM - 8:45 AM and 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
What You'll Do:
Responsibilities:

Assists with program setup, breakdown, and general operational support.

Monitors participants and activities to help maintain a safe environment.

Provides customer service and responds courteously to participant and public inquiries.

Assists with attendance tracking, sign-in/sign-out procedures, and activity coordination.

Enforces program rules, safety procedures, and department policies.
-
Reports accidents, incidents, behavioral concerns, or unsafe conditions to supervisory staff.

Assists with distributing equipment, supplies, and materials.

Serves as a liaison between participants, parents or guardians, program staff, and the Frederick County Parks & Recreation Division by providing routine program information and assisting with participant needs.

Maintains positive working relationships with participants, contracted organizations, parents of participants, and other staff.

Assists in maintaining a safe, organized, and inclusive recreation environment by monitoring participant activities and promptly reporting safety concerns or emergencies to supervisory staff.

Performs related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Previous experience working with recreation programs, camps, athletics, customer service, childcare, or community activities involving elementary school-aged children is preferred but not required.

Willingness to work indoor/outdoor.
