THE POSITION

As a Quality Engineering Manager here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will help shape our unwavering commitment to quality excellence. You are integral to ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services. You will be responsible for leading and managing the quality team and implementing robust quality control processes. Your main responsibilities include supporting a team of dedicated quality personnel and ensuring that high-quality products are consistently delivered to our customers. You will be conducting audits to identify opportunities for improvement, implement corrective and preventive actions, and guide the team with technical expertise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage a team of quality personnel to develop and implement quality control processes

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reliability

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations; AS9100

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues

  • Implement preventive measures to minimize quality defects and customer complaints

U.S. PERSONS REQUIREMENT

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 6+ years of experience in quality engineering or a related field.

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies.

  • Experience leading and managing a team.

WE VALUE:

  • Degree in Engineering or related discipline.

  • Master's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean certification.

  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards.

  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

COMPENSATION

The annual salary range for this position is $134,000 - $165,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell Aerospace considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
