Full job description
Food Service Helper (PT)
District Wide
3 hrs/day or 3.5 hrs/day, 10 mos/year
Shenendehowa Central School District has an anticipated vacancy and is now accepting applications. The District is seeking culturally proficient individuals who actively foster an engaging environment where students can develop confidence in their own success consistent with the Profile of a Shenendehowa Employee (https://www.shenet.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/49646\_shen-24x36\_v1.pdf) .
Job Responsibilities
Performs routine kitchen duties. Provides assistance in the preparation and service of food and is responsible for the cleaning of all kitchen equipment; completes other related work as required. This person should possess excellent people skills.
Compensation & Benefits
Step 1 ($17.33/hr) – Step 5 ($19.20/hr)

Certifications/Qualifications
Experience in restaurant/hotel dining preferred. Good working knowledge of proper methods for serving food and the care of kitchen supplies and equipment. Ability to understand and carry out both verbal and written directions. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and administration. Exhibit thoroughness, good judgment, mental alertness, tact and courtesy. Physical condition commensurate with the responsibilities of the position.
