Full job description
Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for development, validation, and industrialization support of proprietary mechanical systems (suspension, brake systems, gearbox, mirrors, locksets etc.) for 2-wheeler platforms. Experience in at least 3 of the parts must
- Working closely with design, manufacturing, and suppliers
- Lead development of assigned mechanical systems from concept to SOP, in collaboration with CFT & Suppliers
- Provide DFM/DFA and manufacturability inputs to design teams
- Translate vehicle and system requirements into engineering specifications and validation plans
- Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Quality, Purchase, Testing)
- Drive DFMEA, DV/PV validation, and issue resolution during development and production
- Support supplier trials, tooling readiness, and APQP/PPAP activities
- Drive localization, cost reduction, and VA/VE initiative
- Experience is fasten development
Ideal Candidate
- Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
- Overall 8 to 12 Years of experience in 2-Wheeler OEM / Automotive Experience
- Strong understanding of 2-wheeler mechanical proprietary systems
- Experience with suspension, brakes, gearbox, mirrors & locksets ; related proprietary parts
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and tolerances
- APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, GD&T
- Strong supplier coordination and problem-solving skills
