Job Description
Insight Global is seeking Marine Mechanics to support our federal client in Newport News, Virginia. This candidate will be responsible for repairing and installing pumps, valves, hydraulic systems and various deck machinery.
This candidate must have at least three years of relevant experience. The working hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 6 am-2:30 pm EST. The pay rate ranges between $22-$27/hr and is flexible based on years of experience.

Skills and Requirements
Three years of experience.
Experience working on pumps, valves, hydraulic systems and various deck machinery (specifically CTV Valves)
Knowledgeable in interpreting marine blueprints.
Experience adhering to NAVSEA standards for all safety and finished work. Former machinist's mate is a great fit.
Knowledgeable with high pressure air systems
Familiar with valve overhaul (cartridge valves)
Rigging experience
