Monday-Friday 8-5 pm

Pay Range: $22.90 - $34.35

Required Education & Experience

  • Ph.D. or M.D. degree in a biomedical or related scientific field.

  • More than two years of hands-on laboratory experience in biomedical research, including work with animal models and cell culture systems.

  • Experience conducting independent research, analyzing data, and contributing to scientific publications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently design and conduct research projects focused on retina and retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) biology and disease.

  • Execute and complete studies outlined in the Principal Investigator's (PI's) funded research grants.

  • Generate high-quality research data to support peer-reviewed publications and future grant proposals.

  • Prepare, write, and submit scientific manuscripts for publication.

  • Collaborate with the PI and research team to advance ongoing research initiatives and support the overall goals of the laboratory.
