Material Handler, Sr.
The Senior Material Handler is responsible for executing advanced material handling, inventory control, and logistics support activities. Ensures the accurate movement, storage, and traceability of materials in compliance with internal procedures, customer requirements, and regulatory standards. Under minimal supervision, performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
Location : Hatfield, PA
Wage: $22.00-24.00/Hr

Your Challenge:

Performs material handling activities including receiving, inspecting, and storing materials, parts and products. Ensures that all materials are properly labeled, packaged, and stored in designated areas. Ensures proper handling of sensitive hazardous, or controlled materials in accordance with regulatory and safety requirements. (20%)

Executes daily warehouse operations, including picking and packing materials, preparing shipments and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Coordinates with carriers for pick-up and deliveries. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. (20%)

Maintains inventory accuracy through cycle counting, reconciliation, and root cause analysis. Investigates and resolves discrepancies related to inventory, shipping and receiving. Recommends process improvements to reduce future discrepancies. Performs a variety of kitting and order functions. (20%)

Identifies inefficiencies and recommends improvements to material flow, storage, and handling processes. Assists in implementing standardized work procedures. (20%)

Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. (20%)
What you bring:

Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.

Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

Ability to read and interpret work instructions, shipping documents and inventory records.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Physical ability to lift, push and pull materials and equipment.
